Terms of Use
Educational access, responsible use, and protected resources.
Effective July 31, 2026.
Terms of Use
By using the educator platform, educators and schools agree to these terms.
1. Program
Pearl Harbor: Stories of Courage is a free educational program from Harrison's Heroes. It includes public information, protected curriculum, classroom tools, assessments, certificates, recognition badges, and links to a separate immersive experience.
2. Educator eligibility and accounts
Educator accounts are for teachers, school staff, museum educators, homeschool leaders, and other authorized educational users. Registration information must be accurate. Users must protect passwords and classroom codes and promptly report unauthorized access.
3. Student participation
Students participate under educator or school direction and do not create accounts. Educators must use teacher assigned identifiers rather than student names or personal email addresses. Educators are responsible for classroom supervision and local authorization.
4. Permitted use
Protected resources may be downloaded, printed, and used for noncommercial instruction within the registered school or educational organization. Resources may not be sold, posted publicly, redistributed as a competing product, stripped of attribution, or used to train commercial artificial intelligence systems without written permission.
5. Historical responsibility
Users must present the program respectfully and should not modify content in a way that misrepresents the historical record, the people involved, or the nature of the experience. The program supplements, rather than replaces, teacher instruction and historical sources.
6. Technology and accessibility
Educators must preview the experience, review sensory guidance, test technology, and provide an appropriate alternative when needed. Harrison's Heroes may update supported devices, browsers, or features.
7. Assessments and reports
Results are provided to support classroom learning. They are not standardized test scores and should not be used as the sole basis for high stakes grading or placement.
8. Certificates and badges
Student certificates recognize participation and remembrance. Harrison's Heroes educator badges recognize verified participation and leadership. They are not state certification, professional licensure, continuing education credit, or an accredited credential.
9. Privacy
Use is subject to the Privacy Policy. Schools should review privacy practices and local requirements before use.
10. Suspension and termination
Harrison's Heroes may suspend accounts, classroom codes, or access for security risks, inaccurate registration, misuse, unlawful activity, or violation of these terms.
11. Availability and warranties
The program is provided for educational use and may be updated, interrupted, or discontinued. Harrison's Heroes will work to maintain access but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every school network or device.
12. Limitation
To the extent permitted by law, Harrison's Heroes is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use or inability to use the platform. Rights that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.
13. Contact
