A student idea with a national purpose
It began with a third grade lesson.
Harrison’s interest in Pearl Harbor began with a school project and grew into a mission to preserve stories, expand access, and help students experience history more deeply.
From one classroom to many
A young learner asked a powerful question.
Most students will never stand at the Pearl Harbor National Memorial. Harrison’s Heroes is built around the belief that they should still have meaningful access to the people, places, courage, and sacrifice behind the history.
The educator program connects Harrison’s third grade learning experience to grade specific curriculum, immersive storytelling, teacher guidance, and reflection for schools across the country.
